As brewers, we could think of no better way to celebrate the memory of one of our long time members, Jason Wareing. Jason was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Cancer, which recently took his life. He has given so much to us, a genuine good bloke - so we wanted to give back.
This years recipient of our charitable donation will be the Prostate Cancer Foundation of NZ.
JASECOMP is an IPA competition, it is BJCP registered, with all proceeds going to chartiy (PCFNZ)
We have a fantastic range of prizes available, including some new sponsors this year, including 4 Mates Brey in Invercargill.
The challenge is open to all New Zealand Homebrewers, so put your best IPA forward, and make a donation to charity in the process.
Entries Close March 19th 2021 @ 5:00pm
Judging on 27 March 2021, at a location to be confirmed, depending on Covid-19, and availability of judging locations.
If you're entering from outside Christchurch the below hubs are offering to ship beer to us. They will ship beer on the below dates to us for the judging.
